Hey guys so let's do a little introduction. I'm going to make it short and sweet.
My name is Miriam I am 27 years old. I have three kids Noah is 10, Kason is 5 and Kamilah is 3...yup I have my hands full. I work full time and I blog as a hobby. You can find me over at simplymiriam.com where I share everything about motherhood, lifestyle and faith.
1. What did you expect motherhood to be like?
Hhmmm, this ones tricky because I've never had an expectation, motherhood looks different for all of us so theres really not a picture in my head on how it "should" look. I knew for sure it would be a roller coaster ride because I mean you're taking care of a human being and it had been but as scared as I am of heights I wouldnt change my three roller coasters for the world. Motherhood is amazing highs and lows. 2. What have you learned so far? Patience and the true meaning of love. Patience is your best friend with kids. They are so different and react differently to things so you have to be understanding of that. Motherhood has thought me what love really looks like, my kids could care less about the material things they just want me around. And any person that sees past your stinky breath in the morning and boogers in your eyes and still calls you beautiful...that's true love! 3. What's one thing you would change? Absolutely N O T H I N G! 4. What is your biggest fear? Oh Lord what am I not fearful of is the real question. I would have to say that my biggest fear right now is failing them. Failing them in any aspect. I want them to have it all and feel empowered and confident in everything they do and if they feel otherwise I would honestly feel like a failure. I always tell them they are beautiful/handsome, smart, strong and good kids. I try to fill their head with positive affirmations so they cant be told otherwise. 5. What's one piece of advice would you give a new mom? Well first of Congratulations!!! My advice would be to go with the flow and what may work for me may not work for you, and that is okay. Don't put so much pressure on yourself everything will come at it's time. Also this one is a BIG one, if you need help ask for it! Don't be ashamed to be helped! We all need it. So I know that was more than one piece of advice but hey that's okay. Thanks Jess for letting me come on your blog and answer these fun questions! Hey everyone it's Jess, how fun was this to have Miriam guest blog. If you are curios as to what my answers are to these questions go on over to Miriam's blog at www.simplymiriam.com to find out.
